Indo Rama Public School, Jagdishpur organized an impactful Energy Conservation Seminar on 22 November 2025 to promote awareness about sustainable energy practices among students.
A special guest speaker, Mr. Deepak Sharma, GM (Electrical), IIJL, was invited to deliver an interactive session through a detailed PowerPoint presentation on sources of energy and effective ways to save energy. Students actively participated by asking questions and sharing their thoughts on conserving energy in daily life.
The Principal, Dr. Raghvendra Kumar Dwivedi, addressed the gathering and highlighted “100 Ways to Save Energy.” He also shared an inspiring example of a village in Maharashtra — Shelkwadi, which has achieved 100% renewable energy utilization. The Principal encouraged students to become responsible energy savers by minimizing waste, especially paper waste, maintaining a clean and green school environment, and ensuring fans and lights are switched off when not in use. He emphasized that the same practices should be followed at home as well.
The Eco Club appointed 30 students as “Energy Warriors” who will actively support and lead the club initiatives. Head of the Department of Science, Mrs. Nikhat Chughtai, explained the significance of the specially designed Energy Conservation Logo, created by the Physics teacher, Mr. Purvesh Kumar.
